Walk on the Wild Side Photo Workshop @ Ft Clich State Park

Description -  Photo hands-on workshop @ Ft Clinch. Early evening photographing the Fort and surrounding flora and fauna. Limited to 18 people.

Making Friends with your camera
Time: 9am-10:30

Description - Take away the tears - Learn what all the buttons, dials and switches on your camera do, and how to take control.

Introduction to Nature Photography for Children
Time: 9:30-11am
fee - $10

Description - For children 8-12 years old. Covers basic nature photography in a fun and interactive manner.  Children should bring a digital camera.

Seeing the light
Time: 11am-12:30
fee - $40

Description - This is an in-depth class that explores the different types of light in nature photography.  Participants will learn how to correctly meter and expose for the different lighting situations and create excellent images.  Well suited for intermediate and advanced level photographers.

Flight Photography - Birds, Bees and Butterflies
Time:1:45-3:15

Description - Want to shoot creatures that move fast? Learn what equipment you'll need, how to set it up, techniques to get sharp "in flight" photos, and how to make creative blurs.

Sunset Hands-On Workshop: Composition Techniques
Time: 5-7:30 pm
fee - $45

Description - A two hour field workshop that begins at the Main dock in Fernandina. Participants will be shown composition techniques and given assistance with exposure and lens selection on a wide variety of subjects from Pelicans to Shrimp Boats to Sunset images. Limited to 18 people.

Sunrise Workshop
Time: 6-8am
fee - $40

Description - Practice various aspects of exposure, metering, and composition. Individualized assistance.  Take better sunrise photos and beach compositions. Limited to 18 people.

Taking a Winning Photo: Lighting and Composition
Time: 9:30-11:30am
fee - $45

Description - Learn the rules of lighting and composition – and when to break them! Learn how to make a winning nature photo.
